HOLY ROWERS - 2009

& Cardboard Boat Regatta

TEAM INFORMATION:

We are competing in 2 different Dragon Boat Competitions~

(1) My Waterloo Days - practice is Saturday, May 31st, time TBA /   Races are all day on Sunday, June 1st.

(2) Freedom Festival - June 21st Practice - undecided / Races all day on Saturday, June 21st

AND The Cardboard Boat Regatta -  Freedom Festival -  Sunday, June 29th

REQUIREMENTS:

• Paddlers must be in high school or older to compete.
  

• Paddlers who sign up for MWD Dragon Boat Races MUST attend the practice and ALL races.
  

• Paddlers who sign up for the Freedom Festival races must understand that we might have a practice  session the  day of or the day prior to the races and that all paddlers must attend.
  

• Cardboard Boat Regatta people MUST commit to helping build the boat(s) during the month of June.
  

• All Paddlers will need to help us pay the race fees. The fees are as follows:
  

• My Waterloo Days OR Freedom Festival ONLY: $25 - includes Holy Rowers Team T-Shirt
  

• BOTH MWD AND Freedom Festival: $40 - includes Holy Rowers Team T-Shirt
  

• The are no fees for the Cardboard Boat Regatta team.
  

• All Paddlers,  no matter the age, MUST complete an Archdiocesan Med Form and any waivers required by race organizers.  Please click HERE to get the Archdiocesan Waiver.
  

• Paddlers will not be counted as official team members until their forms are completed and fees paid.
  

• Please make checks payable to WCYM.
